More importantly, perhaps, we are committed to making sure your day is truly special. The stroom's function rooms offer a refreshing alternative to chain hotel venues. Situated in the same historic building as the stroom, it offers excellent cuisine and wines, a range of entertainment and unrivalled service and all at great value for money. This is probably the most exciting and expensive party of your life but if you book your reception with us, you can be certain you'll have everything you want, from sumptuous food prepared by top chefs, a great DJ, permanent dance floor and a range of champagnes and wines, all for a great price. All of our rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies, although weddings are usually held in the queen's room. Of course you can choose to take over the whole place! The queen's room is a light airy room able to hold up to 90 guests for a formal dinner and up to 100 for an informal buffet reception. The Cellar bar is a more intimate venue for a romantic evening party. It can seat up to 70 guests for a formal dinner function or formal buffet meal and 120 guests for an informal evening buffet/disco.
